pants, crafted from non-fluorinated PERTEX® EQUILIBRIUM, blend design and functionality for both mountain
and city environments.
"BLACK BELT" embodies the freedom of creation unbound by competition, born from MOUNTAIN MARTIAL
ARTS' accumulated expertise. It prioritizes sustainability alongside design and function.
The original Japanese-made body features a relaxed, natural silhouette suitable as overpants. It includes four
essential pockets and packs down by stowing into the zippered back hip pocket. The hem fastens with dot
buttons, allowing it to be worn over shoes. Adjust the fit with the elastic waist + drawstring and hem
drawcord.
The main fabric, PERTEX® EQUILIBRIUM, is a non-fluorinated specification aligned with the global movement
to eliminate PFAS (perfluorinated compounds). It maintains windproof and water-repellent functionality while
being environmentally conscious (PFAS are a concern due to potential impacts on human health and the
environment).
ts double-weave construction features a high-density outer layer for windproofing and water repellency. In
contrast, the inner layer is textured to create space between skin and fabric, preventing stickiness and cling.
It also wicks sweat and moisture outward, maintaining comfort inside the garment. Its exceptional thinness
and lightness at 12D makes it highly packable. Its durability and stretch make it ideal for outdoor activities,
while its texture blends seamlessly into urban settings.
*Compared to the previous ERTEX® EQUILIBRIUM, it is less resistant to oil stains; frequent washing is
recommended.
